What the public achievement list can tell you

Steam's public Unshine Arcade achievement page lists 27 achievements at our October 8 check. Some include a visible objective, while others show only a name. This guide separates those official descriptions from player-reported routes. A badge name alone is not enough to infer an exact secret condition.

Use the groups below to select an objective that matches what you want to do next. Combat totals, purchases, story progress and VP outcomes are different tasks. You do not need to restart an existing game merely because the list includes a secret achievement. No complete, independently verified 100% route was established from the materials checked here.

Percentages on Steam change as people play. They are not requirements, and a rare badge does not tell you whether it needs a particular difficulty, item or ending. We therefore keep this page focused on the stated objectives and useful preparation rather than treating global unlock rates as puzzle clues.

Getting started and story objectives

AchievementPublic objective, paraphrased
Welcome to the Sunshine Arcade!Bring the arcade's power back.
The EggGet the egg to hatch.
MikeThe description points you toward a conversation with a microwave.
Finally freeFree VP.
LucBegin a bet with Luc.

These entries name milestones, but they do not publish a full order of rooms or every trigger. If you have performed what appears to be the relevant action, compare the exact in-game state with the named milestone before assuming the entire story is blocked.

For Mike, note the difference between having a microwave interaction and receiving its rewards. The developer's reward reply identifies a green disc and 360 shot; patch 1.0.35 addresses one saving bug. A reward problem does not establish that the achievement has the same repair procedure. Read microwave rewards for that separate check.

Bosses and combat goals

AchievementPublic objective, paraphrased
The MechBeat the boss associated with the blue disc.
The CentipedeBeat the green-disc boss.
The Fly LordBeat the red-disc boss.
MasterWin a boss fight at difficulty three.
ManiacReach 1,000 enemy kills.
Wanted FrogReach 10,000 enemy kills.
Combo masteryObtain at least ten tickets from one kill.

The public descriptions do not give boss attack timings, a required loadout or a precise damage threshold. Do not treat a recommended build as a proven achievement condition. For Master, the stated difficulty matters; for Combo mastery, a single kill matters. Adding together several smaller payouts does not match the wording of that objective.

When planning a combat attempt, record the named challenge and the result you are trying to observe. If an upgrade's behavior comes from an old video, check current stacking and ability notes. Chain Lightning Shot's duplicate behavior changed in 1.0.33, so an older demonstration may not be a dependable basis for your attempt.

Collection and purchase completion

AchievementPublic objective, paraphrased
Empty ClawRemove the claw machine's remaining prizes.
Skilltree masterPurchase the whole skill tree.
Arms dealerComplete purchases at the start weapon machine.
Infinite abilitiesComplete purchases at the start ability machine.
Instantly richWin more than 50,000 tickets in one bet with Luc.

These are completion goals, not a published price list. The Steam page confirms the systems and endpoints without giving the total spending needed to reach them. Check what remains available in your save instead of estimating the cost from another player's balance.

Instantly rich is specifically about one betting result. It is not described as holding that amount in your wallet, and the checked sources do not provide bet odds or a guaranteed strategy. If you are saving tickets for equipment, distinguish that spending plan from an attempt at the betting badge. Our machine guide helps identify the relevant station without inventing a budget.

Daniel Veld: the no-gacha challenge

The public description for Daniel Veld asks you to finish a full Space Frog run without collecting a gacha. That is a clear restriction worth reading before an attempt. Do not turn it into a claim about which weapon, difficulty or route is required: those extra conditions are not in the visible description checked here.

For planning, identify what the game considers a gacha pickup in the run you are playing and avoid choices that plainly collect one. The public description does not explain every edge case, such as an upgrade already associated with a starting setup. If you are attempting an ambiguous case, keep the setup and outcome in your notes rather than assuming that every form of power is prohibited or permitted.

A focused attempt is easier to interpret than one where you also test an uncertain code or a changed duplicate effect. If the badge does not unlock, report your starting setup, any pickups and the run outcome. That provides a concrete question about the restriction without asserting an unverified tracking bug.

Pain: one reported route, with important limits

Steam describes Pain as obtaining the worst possible VP. In the October 1 discussion about Pain and Secret VP, player Foozo says they earned Pain by starting a new save and feeding no candy or donuts during the pet's leveling. This is a first-hand player report, not a developer-verified universal checklist.

If you choose to use that report as a route reference, keep its condition intact: the player describes avoiding both items during leveling. Do not replace it with a guessed low feeding count or conclude that one item is harmless. The post does not supply a complete timing chart, every pet stage, a recovery method for a previously fed pet or proof that all existing saves must be replaced.

Preserve your current progress. The report's new-save advice does not authorize overwriting a completed or valuable save. If the game's available save options let you test separately, keep the experiment separate. We do not publish manual save-edit instructions or a guaranteed way to undo feeding.

This report also contradicts the claim that no public Pain advice exists. Advice exists; its reliability and scope are narrower than a confirmed 100% guide. That is why it is presented with the player's name and the original thread rather than promoted to an absolute condition.

Secret VP: the condition is still unconfirmed here

The public Steam list shows Secret VP without a visible description in the captured page. Foozo's same comment speculates about feeding enough donuts and candy, but explicitly says the idea was not sufficiently tried. It also reports obtaining a dog form that gave codes. Those statements do not establish that the dog form is Secret VP or that feeding more unlocks the badge.

We therefore do not give a quantity, timing sequence or required pet form for Secret VP. A theory can be worth testing, but it should not be presented as the solution. Before investing a full playthrough, look for a report that demonstrates the badge unlocking and identifies the relevant build and pet history.

The code feature and the hidden-gacha availability rule do not independently prove this achievement route either. If another guide connects those systems, ask which observed result supports the connection. Missing evidence should remain a specific unknown rather than become a story you are told to follow.

Names without public instructions

The captured list also includes Coin bonus, Heartraid, Bored or something, Not my body, Your PC is safe, Coin flip realism and No problem without visible objective text. We list their names to make the catalogue complete, not to guess conditions from the wording.

For these entries, a useful discovery report would show the achievement unlock alongside the action and relevant game state. A badge image, low percentage or suggestive name is insufficient to establish a reproducible method. Until that evidence is available, choose a goal with a clear public description or label your attempt as a personal experiment.

A practical way to track your next attempt

Pick one achievement and write down its visible condition. Separate what Steam states from any optional build advice or player route. Note the edition, patch, difficulty where relevant and the action you expect to complete the objective. After the attempt, record the actual result.

That approach helps you distinguish a missed condition from an obsolete guide. It also prevents a speculative Secret VP route from becoming a reason to discard your main save. For upgrades, use the gacha guide; for machine purchases, use the machine guide; for a VP-supplied clue, use the console guide. Each answers a different part of the achievement attempt.
